Start from the Oxbow Public Market and paddle south along the Napa River. Paddle through the heart of Napa, Napa Pipe area, and finish gazing upon the golden hills of the Carneros region. There will be lots of native flora an fauna to see , including: Canadian geese, Golden eagles,Great Blue herons, Red Tail hawks, River turtles, and White egrets.

You will discover the unique geology of the valley and what makes it so special. We will dock at either Kennedy Park or Cuttings Wharf and a convenient shuttle will escort you back to the Oxbow Public Market and Napa Valley Adventure tours.

NVAT Kayak Day Tour in Pt. Reyes

Join us for one of our newest and exciting adventure . Your group will be escorted by two guides to the kayak launch at Tomales Bay . Paddle and relax where the birds and seals play and enjoy the breathtaking views of the coast and Hog Island. Your experience continues once you paddle ashore to a pristine beach where you’ll enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch including BBQ'd Oysters (if in season) . This leisurely and quiet tour is appropriate for all fitness and adventure levels. Meet at the NVAT location at the Oxbow Public Market at 8 AM, drive 1.5 hours to Tomales Bay, paddle around and eat lunch , return to NVAT at 5 PM.

NVAT Kayak Overnight Tour in Pt. Reyes

An extension of the day tour, paddle across Tomales Bay and set up camp on a nearby beach. Rest, relax, and eat dinner. After sunset, paddle back out into the bay to watch the sunset, observe the Pelicans feeding, and the seals playing. As the moon rises, witness bioluminescence (depends on time of year) and gaze long into the night sky to catch a glimpse of a shooting star. Paddle around Hog's Island to listen to the Cormorants resting in the trees. Return to NVAT the following day around late morning.
