A passion for travel ignited Paul Hendricks' career in adventure tourism over fifteen years ago. Hendricks’ experience not only spans nearly two decades but includes adventures across Europe and the United States. After leading guided trips from destinations in Europe including Germany and Ireland, Hendricks returned to the U.S. where he was drawn to the beauty of national parks and the geography of America’s Southwest up through Northern California. ITMI certified tour guide, Solo Wilderness First Aid and CPR certified

Justin Perkins (J.P.)
Resident Bike Geek

J.P. a native of Napa, is our expert bike mechanic while servicing all our bike and kayak rentals and tours. He has a vast knowledge of the history and culture of this valley as well as being well versed in the local wildlife. A graduate of San Francisco State University, Perkins is an avid hiker, cyclist, writer, musician and all around adventure seeker. As a native of the area, he also is a food and wine enthusiast ready to help you locate some of the valley's best spots.

Diane Chase
Experiential Architect

Diane fell in love with traveling while spending a summer in Europe and on the East Coast during high school. After working for years so that she could travel she changed careers so she travels for work. As an ITMI certified guide, she has spent the last three years leading tours in Northern California, Alaska and Europe. Her love of cycling, history and wine make her a perfect fit for Napa Valley.

Lucia Hossfeld

Group and Events Coordinator

Lucia is a native of Napa and a grape grower who decided to take time out of her vineyard to lead adventures for Napa Valley Adventure Tours. Her background adds a very intimate perspective to our adventures especially those adventures that take place among the vines. A graduate of the International Tour Management Institute and fluent in Spanish , Lucia loves the atmosphere associated with tour directing.  When not tending to the grapes , Lucia is an avid skier, climber, hiker, fly fisherman, gardener, traveler and infatuated with viticulture, vinticulture , and a great glass of fine Cabernet.

Robert 'Bob' St. Laurent

Public Relations / Kayaking guide

Not only is Bob a local radio personality but a stupendous kayak guide. A sports enthusiast, entertainer and personality  living in the San Francisco Bay Area. Bob is an avid bassist performing with his instrumental surf band "the Deadlies". Being a world class surfer , environmentalist , and Earth steward has afforded Bob the experience  and lingo to deliver an excellent and informational tour. Catch Bob on the water or on the air.

Oliver Nisch
Experiential Architect

Oliver Nisch brings over fifteen years of experience to Napa Valley Adventure Tours. Besides trekking across North America, from Canada to the Southwestern United States, Nisch has explored the entire globe by biking across Cambodia and Vietnam and diving in the waters off of Honduras to name a few. Nisch has lead both large and small groups across the world and brings his stories and experiences to the team at Napa Valley Adventure Tours. He is a graduate of the International Tours Management Institute (ITMI) and is a certified PADI diving instructor. Oliver is fluent in German, Spanish and English.
